Midst of an overriding out of the morass

T K Arun says in India invariably “All political parties depend, in the absence of institutional funding, on loot of the exchequer, patronage of vested interests and preying upon the citizenry to mobilise the resources needed to finance politics. The recent murder of a UP engineer is but an extreme consequence of the Indian mode of political funding. This, incidentally, suborns the officialdom and opens the path to bureaucratic corruption”.
